Well we had a tough Saturday, with both of us going 5-8-1, but the games were fun to watch. Stanford found a way to push, although Vince got them at 7.5 so he actually won money there. Washington had a nice cover, it was a game that Dave and Vince liked but didn't have on the board. Those late two covers for Vince made all the difference. Did anybody see that ugly South Carolina Tennessee game? 17 total points scored, neither team really looked like they wanted to win, but the Gamecocks did enough. Another game not on our board, but maybe the game of the day was Mizzou @ A&M. The Tigers righted their ship by pulling out an OT victory in College Station. I know Dave will add some comments on Monday about the dismantling of the Wildcats that was done at the hands of the Sooners. Now that team looked like a national title contender, too bad they let that slip away last week. Clemson falls from the ranks of the unbeaten, and they weren't even ever in that game, Arkansas almost blows their season against Vandy, what the heck? Iowa State blows out Tech? Really? Tech comes out flat after a huge win, sign of a team that doesn't know how to be a big deal, young players who haven't won very many big games. After OK State dominates Baylor, is anybody ready for the OU/OK State game? I know that is going to be awesome! And finally please tell me you caught the end of the Wisconsin and Ohio State game? Holy cow! I think Gus Johnson might have had a heart attack if he was the one calling that game. Wisconsin comes from behind and takes the lead and then gives up a huge touchdown, excitement for sure. They go from potential national championship to watching Curt Cousins complete a Hail Mary and then Braxton Miller, who completed 7 passes in the game, completes a 40 yard TD to basically close out the game. What a great finish! Didn't win any money there but just love football, and these games have been exciting, see USC/Stanford!
A lot of big lines in the NFL today, which really scares me. I keep stats on almost everything and so many times in the NFL the favorites do not cover. But it makes you think, Vegas has to know something, if this many games have 9+ spreads Vegas is trying to prove something. 6 games with spreads of 9 or more, that is half of the games today. It is hard to lay that many points, but Dave and I are doing it in quite a few. I am most excited for the Monday Night Game, as a Chief's season ticket holder, I can't wait. I remember last year in the rain, and just how much fun it was, and how that game set the tone for our season. I will tell you right now, Chiefs can set the tone for the rest of the season tomorrow night! Some big games today, Patriots @ Steelers, Cowboys @ Eagles, and some big games under the radar, Bengals @ Seahawks, Vikings @ Panthers, Lions @ Broncos with all the Tebowing! I mean I am ready for some football. How many upsets do you see today? Do the Colts get in the win column in Tennessee or does Chris Johnson actually make an appearance? Can Miami get a win in New York? Who sets themselves apart as the best team in the AFC? Patriots or Steelers? The Packers, oh wait they are on a bye, we will go ahead and give them another win! Hope you guys enjoyed the games yesterday, and hope the games today as just as enjoyable!

Some Breakdowns
We don't really bet baseball, mainly because it is tough to bet, but because you never know what is going to happen. See last night's game if you don't believe me. How exciting where the late innings in that game? Hopefully most of you got to watch it because that truly was a classic. No idea what happens tonight, but I am guessing it will be another great game, similar to the 1985 World Series were the Royals won 11-0. All Cardinal joking aside, this really should be an exciting game and hopefully it is half of what last night was and we will have a great ending to the MLB season.
Did anybody watch Case Keenum last night? Flipping back and forth from baseball and football? The dude threw 9 touchdown passes, yes 9. Houston just rolled up the points and couldn't be stopped, they needed almost all the 73 to cover though as their defense was not playing that great giving up big plays as well. Anybody watch Virginia knock off the Huricanes? It was a good game, but Miami didn't have enough in them to come back. Big win for Virginia and a good start for Dave and Vince with a couple covers, one game that was not on the board so we start the weekend 1-0.
Thoughts from Vince...
Bengals @ Seahawks +3. I think this is a tough game, Cincy is playing well but traveling across the country to play a tough home team. I have leaned both ways on this game but finally deciding to go with the Seahawks at home. Seattle is 33-12 ATS in their last 45 games at home, 17-1 ATS when playing out of the division at home, and Cincy is 0-7 ATS after a bye. Yes this is a different Cincy team, but this is pretty much the same Seattle team. The team that covered at home against the Falcons and a team who beat the favored Cardinals at home. If you want more the Hawks were 5-3 at home last year and blew out a good New Orleans team in the playoff divisional round. It is home of the 12th Man, and I look for this to continue. If you want even more Cedric Benson is not playing and that will put more pressure on Andy Dalton a rookie QB on the road! Seahawks not only cover, but find a way to win this game. Seattle 20 Cincy 17
Patriots @ Steelers +3. Sure you think vaunted Steelers defense against this pass happy Tom Brady offense should be a good game. Does anybody remember last year? 39-26 in Heinz field Patriots win going away! The Pittsburgh defense isn't what it used to be and their offensive line is still a work in progress. The Patriots give up the yards, but I think they do just enough to win this game. Anybody know the Patriots are over 50% on 3rd down? Tom Brady, 2 tight ends, Wes Welker, and whoever else they want to throw out there just can't be stopped. More stats, Patriots have covered 10 of their last 13 on the road, Tom Brady is 6-1 in his last 7 against the Steelers and one more stat, Belichick is 8-0 recently after a bye week. Can't go against the Pats on this one.
Patriots 30 Steelers 20.
OU @ K-State +14. Dave will break down this game too, and it is for sure one we disagree on. Remember when OU and K State played in the Big 12 Title game and OU was 17 point favorites and nobody gave K State a chance? Well K State won that game. Remember my comments about teams like the Lions? When they fall they fall hard? Oklahoma's nation title hopes just went out the window last week and their weaknesses were exploited. 3 things to focus on here 1) Brent Venables' defense has been digressing for 3 years now 2) Landry Jones is a good quarterback but makes too many big mistakes and has a 36% completion percentage when outside the pocket and 3) their special teams, especially placekicking, is horrible. What does K State do well? Run the ball, force turnovers, and dominate special teams. I think K State continues to exploit the weaknesses in OU on defense and special teams, and will force Landry into making Landry like decisions. 2 more side notes, Snyder is 7-3 ATS as a home dog and the Wildcats lead the nation in time of possession. When big dogs fall they fall hard and I look for K State not only to cover but to win this game. Upset Alert K State 31 OU 28.
Stanford @ USC +8. Kinda surprised more people aren't on USC here like Dave. 91% of the money is on Stanford and for good reason. Like I said before I am not going to get off them until they buck me and then I will probably get right back on. Stanford isn't just about Andrew Luck, did you see how many rushing yards they had last week and this year? This team is balanced and can do whatever they want and score at will. You want the same stats from before Stanford has covered 10 straight games, winning those games by 27 points or more. Stanford and Clemson are the two teams that have covered every game this year, and I don't see any reason for them to stop now. I told Dave he was picking with his heart because he somehow wants to get OU back into the National Title picture, but after they lose this week it will be 100% over. A lot of people are sold on Matt Barkley, and sure he can make some plays, but he misses too many wide open receivers. Put a little pressure on the guy and he turns into Ryan Leaf. Sure USC is coming off a big road win, and they are motivated to knock Stanford out of title contention, but Stanford does not have a let down here. USC keeps it close in the first half and then Stanford pulls away.
Stanford 40 USC 24.
Clemson @ Georgia Tech +3. This is a huge trap game, a game Clemson could lose for sure. But they are primed to make a run at this and this is the toughest game they have left. As mentioned earlier Clemson is one of 2 teams that have covered all their games this year, and I really don't think that trend stops this week. I do think Tech keeps this game close, probably close to a one score game, but Clemson is hungry and I finally bought in to what they are doing a few weeks ago. Tajh Boyd is making his run for the Heisman, and I don't see this wishbone offense with Tevin Washington being able to do enough to pull the upset. David Sims and Orwin Smith will get their yards but the difference in this game is Tajh boyd.
Clemson 35 Tech 27
Thoughts from Dave...
Arkansas vs Vandy (10) : The Hogs go into Nashville favored by 10 against a Vandy team that's lost 3 of its last 4. The Hogs come in winning their last 3 games, 2 of those against ranked opponents. Look for the Hogs to jump on Vandy early as they have struggled out of the gate in recent games. Tyler Wilson is by far the best QB this year in the SEC throwing for over 2000 yards to go along with 12 TD tosses while only compiling 3 INTS. Wilson should once again be poised to have a big day as long as he continues to find Joe Adams and J. Wright. This should be a confidence booster to the defense of Arkansas as well as they take on an injury bitten South Carolina next week. (which I will attend). The Hogs should be 10-1 when they travel to Baton Rouge to take on the Tigers of LSU.
Hogs roll Vandy 55-24.
Oklahoma vs. Kansas State (14) : Oklahoma rolls into Manhattan after a heart breaking loss to Texas Tech to take on the unbeaten Wildcats. Look for Stoops to have his team more focused than ever. I haven't went against Oklahoma this year, so why start. Several folks have written the Sooners off with the loss to Tech, but its not that far fetched to think the Sooners still have a shot at a national championship, and it starts with handling K-State. Several things have to happen to get OU back in the championship race, but it could happen. OU beats K-State and Ok State which they can and should do, Alabama will host LSU next week and G-Tech could hand Clemson their first loss this Saturday and another upset could be USC knocking of Stanford this week as well. Boise State has cupcakes remaining on their schedule with exception of TCU. Oregon still has to play Stanford and USC, so don't think the Sooners are ready to pack it in. I look for Oklahoma to make a statement, a strong statement and completely annihilate the Wildcats.
Sooners dominate the Wildcats 48-24.
Baylor vs. Oklahoma State: (-15)This maybe the Pokes best team its seen in at least my life time. The explosive Cowboys play host to the Baylor Bears. The Bears roll into town coming off a beat down coming at the hands of Texas A&M 2 weeks ago. I look for Griffin and company to do their thing. They will no doubt put up some points, but their D couldn't stop most high school teams. If the Bears had a defense, they very well could be undefeated as well, but they don't and for that reason, the Pokes should win this one, but I think its a 2 touchdown game. It will be a air assault for both squads. Pokes win in a shoot out.
OK State 52 Baylor 38
Wisconsin vs Ohio State (7) : This is another team coming off it's first loss of the season, they are 1 hail marry pass from being unbeaten. I can't believe this line is only 7, as I think the Badgers handle the Buckeyes in every way in this game, Wisconsin should set the tone early as Russel Wilson should be able to do whatever he wants against this struggling Ohio State team. The Big Ten title is still something the Badgers are playing for as well as a BCS berth.
Wisconsin wins convincingly 44-13.
Vikings vs. Panthers (-3): Boy are they happy in Carolina, Cam Newton has given this bottom feeder team something to hope for. Newton has played better than anyone had thought. His electrifying play is reason enough to watch a Carolina game, but 1 man cannot win a ball game. The Vikings have turned to rookie QB Christian Ponder as the aged veteran McNabb has struggled for most of the season, he looked decent last week as he made his 1st start, keeping his team in the game against top dog Green Bay. I look for him to build off of that as they look to pick up their second win of the season. Vikings edge the Panthers 34-31.
Chargers vs Chiefs (3.5) : The Bolts roll into Arrowhead winning 3 of their last 4, and one of those wins came against Kansas City (20-17). I look for the Chargers to pull away in the first half. Kansas City's 3 wins come against the winless Colts, 1 win Vikings, and against the Raiders which were playing with QB's that totaled 6 picks, so their resume isn't all that great. Look for the Chargers to make some bone headed plays that could shift momentum, but when the clock hits zero's, they will be up by double digits.
34-17. Chargers win again.

The Picks
Anybody get to watch some football last weekend? I know Dave and Vince were pretty busy with a wedding and Lake Golf Weekend. We watched some on our phones and caught some games, but not to the level that we would normally like. This weekend I think we both plan on catching a lot of games and having a great week! Also look for some breakdowns tomorrow on games and again if you have a game you want us to break down shoot us a comment and we will break that game down.
2 games on the schedule tonight, Virginia @ Miami and Rice at Houston. The Cavaliers head into Miami as 14 point dogs. Virginia is 4-3 and 2-5 ATS this year with their notable win over Georgia Tech. Miami comes in 4-3 and 4-3 ATS with their notable win also being against GT last week. Miami is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games so something has to give here tonight. Dave and Vince both look for Virginia to keep this game somewhat close and to cover the 14 point spread. Wouldn't be surprised to see an upset here but look for Miami to pull out a close one.
Rice @ Houston (-28). (A game not on our board) Houston comes into this match-up at 7-0 and only ranked 17th in the country while Rice comes in 2-5. Rice has lost 4 out of their last 5 with that one win being against a hapless Memphis team. Both teams have played Marshall with Rice losing 24-20 and Houston rolling 63-28. The question here isn't who is going to win, but it is truly by how many. Houston can score at will and I am not sure Rice has any ability to stop them. I think Houston knowing that the BCS doesn't like them so far will continue to try to pile on the points here. I wouldn't be surprised to see Houston put up 60 again but my prediction is 55-14. Lay the points and take Houston to roll!

Prop Bets = Sucker Bets
Coming off my first losing weekend of the year, I decided that the Monday night game was dangerous and something to stay away from, well with respect to the line. I decided I wanted some action on it so I decided to look at the prop bets. I actually ended up making 13 prop bets on this game and here they are....
1)Baltimore's first scoring play of the game will be a TD pass +175
2)Total Field Goals in the game over 3.5 +145
3)Team with Longest Field Goal in the game (JAGS) -110
4)Team with most First downs Balt -3.5 -120
5)Baltimore Final score odd number -125
6)Jacksonville Final score odd number -125
7)Baltimore last score with be a field goal or safety +160
8)Baltimore first score will be a TD -150
9)Jacksonville first score of the game will be a field goal +125
10)Longest field goal of the game over 44.5 yards -115
11)First score of the game.. Jacksonville FG +385
12)First score of the game (pick fg/safety or TD) FG +110
13)Team to score first Jacksonville +155
1) Baltimore took 58 minutes to score but it was a passing TD
2) Jacksonville had 4 field goals, 3 of which were over 50 yards thanks cuz!
3) Jags were the only team to kick a field goal but 54 yds prob holds up Cundiff did miss a 52 yard field goal
4) Jacksonville actually had more first downs so lost that one
5) Baltimore 7 points odd number check
6) Jacksonville 12, not odd, but that last field goal helped out
7) Baltimore last score field goal or safety no sir
8) Baltimore's first score was a TD
9) Jacksonville finally decided to kick a field goal, making their first score a FG
10) 54, 54, 51, all field goals longer than 44.5 yards
11) First score of the game by either team, Jacksonville FG, didn't know if this was going to happen, but it did finally.
12) First score of the game was a FG
13) Jacksonville scored first, in an ugly ugly game. Baltimore couldn't even get a first down.
What does this teach us? Honestly not much at all. It wasn't chasing money lost, it was just wanting some small action that did not involve that line. A line that moved to 11 points from 7 earlier in the week. Prop bets are very rarely good bets, if they provide odds that look great, it is because they are not really good bets at all. Vegas and whoever love people betting on the prop bets, the odds are in their favor big time, and very often impossible to hit. I got lucky, I just had a gut feeling about that game last night and I went with it. Remember, don't chase losses with a big bet on Sunday or Monday night, you may occasionally hit it, but the true successful gamblers look at it as a marathon not a sprint. This is a season long battle to win money, not trying to hit it big with one game, or get our money back on one game, it will burn you in the long run. Finally, if you want to make some small wagers on prop bets, know that it is ok, but it is not something I would make a habit of. I will occasionally throw money on the coin toss in the Super Bowl, or something like last night, but I would never do this every week, unless I somehow knew the quarter had 2 heads! Hope you had a better week than me, but look for a huge bounce back week. I feel very solid about the NFL and some very solid college games as well. Stay tuned for our picks.

Friday Updates and Breakdown
Well it is Friday and it is time for a couple changes, and time for us to lock in our picks! Vince is only changing 2 games this week and both are in the NFL, Vince is taking the Falcons to cover against the Lions with a breakdown to come, and he is taking the Redskins to cover and beat the Panthers also with a breakdown to come. This is going to be an exciting week of football, and we hope that you all enjoy watching it and hopefully we have some winning picks on here!
We had a comment that requested a breakdown of the Chiefs/Raiders, and also mentioned the alleged drug use on Vince's basketball team. First and foremost the team won 68-55, so they not only covered they put the game on the over. As far as drug use, there are no performance enhancing drugs that are being used, maybe some medical marijuana for a couple of the players. Thankfully this is a league that does not require drug testing, or the team might lose a couple players.
Now some thoughts from Vince....
Chiefs @ Raiders (-6). This line has moved quite a bit starting at 3, but with the addition of Carson Palmer the Raiders have became even greater favorites. I am not really sure that makes sense since he hasn't played in 9 months and he wasn't that good last year at all. Carson Palmer hasn't been the same since his knee injury and he put off having Tommy John's surgery to just rehab? Not sure that shoulder is that strong anymore to man the down the field attack the Raiders want to employ. The Raiders have won 8 straight division games, but the road team has covered 9 of the last 10 games in this series. The Chiefs are also 14-7 ATS as road dogs in the division in their last 21 games. I not only like the Chiefs to cover I like the Chiefs to win this game 24-20!
Redskins @ Panthers (-3). Initially I was on the Panthers and the Cam Newton band wagon just like 81% of the money in Vegas, but looking more and more at this game I think that the Skins contain Newton and find a way to win. The Redskins defense has not allowed 21 points to anybody this year, and Newton has been slowed lately. Also, their only win is against a lonely Jacksonville squad. I look for the Redskins to step up again defensively and use their strong run game to take some of the pressure off of John Beck. Skins win 16-13.
Falcons @ Lions (-3.5). Again initially leaning towards the Lions just like the 60% of betters in Vegas, but looking at this again I realize that teams that come off long losing streaks tend to fall hard with back to back blunders. Some stats to back this up, Mike Smith is 9-1 ATS when playing teams with a winning percentage of .750 or better. Here is an interesting stat I heard as well, teams that start 4-0 that are coming off a loss playing a team that is .500 or better coming off a win are 1-9 ATS. All signs here tell me to take the Falcons, straight up. The Lions defense has shown they can't stop the run and the Falcons are leaning more on Michael Turner again. Falcons 24-20!
Upset Special
Oklahoma State @ Missouri (+7). Oklahoma State comes in here riding high off some big wins, but I see this game going a completely different direction. Ok State has some trouble stopping the run and I look for Franklin and Josey to have huge days. With this that is a great defense, using your running game to keep OK State off the field. With that they are plus 5 in turnovers in their last two wins, and with Mizzou at home I don't see them turning the ball over. Brandon Weedon was a little off last week, but they were able to beat a Texas team that isn't that good. He didn't complete 60% of his passes, stepped out of the back of the end zone for a safety, and I just look for a similar performance here against Mizzou in Columbia. OK State always has a hiccup in their season when they are suppose to be great, and this is where it happens. I love the points but I think Mizzou wins the game outright. I think it will be pretty high scoring but not as high as many people think. I am taking the Tigers 36-30.
K State @ KU (+10.5). What a huge trap game for the Wildcats, they come in being a favorite for the first time in their last 5 games. They also have Oklahoma looming next week, but one thing Snyder coached teams don't do is look ahead and they don't lose to Kansas. Bill Snyder is 13-1 straight up and 13-1 ATS against Kansas. I just don't look for a let down here, and I look for K State to exploit that weak Kansas defense, so weak they are worst in the nation in points allowed. This game kind of reminds me of the Georgia Tech game, Kansas couldn't stop the run and won't be able to do it here. K State rolls!
And now some thoughts from Dave...
Texans @ Titans (-3). The Texans look to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Balitmore (29-14). With Andre Johnson still out, Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels must step up in the passing game. They also must get back to getting Arian Foster enough touches both in the running game as well as the passing game, he can be lethal in the open field. The Titans have struggled to run ball with any consistency this year, and the 30 million gauranteed man has not lived up to the hype. I look for the Titans to struggle on offense and Houston will get back to their high octane offense Kubiak is known for. The loss of Mario Williams will be a big blow to the D, but look for others to fill the gap. Houston wins 31-27.
Chiefs @ Raiders (-6) I am going to have to disagree with Vince on this one. A 18 month rusty over hyped QB Carson Palmer is better than a seasoned Matt Cassell any day of the week. With the Chiefs struggling to find an identity in the run game, they have turned to Jackie Battle, yes Jackie Battle, not really a go to guy but had a quality game last week against the winless Colts. The last 3 years he has a total of 51 carries for 118 yards, nothing to brag about. Now on the other side of the ball, Darren McFadden is one of the NFL top rushers and should shred this KC defense. I look for the Raiders to beat the Chiefs as they come out stale from their bye week. 31-17.
Arkansas @ Ole Miss : The Hogs roll into Oxford coming off back to back wins over #15 Auburn and #14 Texas A&M. The Rebels come off a 52-7 blowout suffered at the hands of the Crimson Tide. This game also has "BLOWOUT" written all over it. Houston Nutt has managed to do it again, run a program into the ground single handily and wonder what went wrong. Nutt will be blown out by his former team that has since been restored by Bobby Petrino. This should be total domination in every facet of the game. The defense should be keyed in as Nutt has 6 plays he calls, 4 runs, 1 pass, and 1 Wild Rebel/Wild Hog, whatever you wanna call it. He will no doubt run on 1st and 2nd down, pass on 3rd down because its 3rd and long and will punt the majority of his offensive possesions. I am sure the Rebel fans have grown to despise Nutt as Razorback Nation had. This one isn't pretty here. 55-13. Coach Nutt (I hate to even call him a coach) does have Kentucky, La Tech, and Miss St on the schedule, so he should manage at least 1 more win. PIG SOOOOOOIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Oklahoma State @ Missouri : I am also going to disagree with Vince here. There is a reason the Pokes are ranked #4 and the Tigers are not. But we have come to learn that rankings don't secure the win. What will secure the win is Brandon Weedin and company. I like Mizzou, I think they are a quality team that can manage close games within their own enviroment, but I think the Pokes get it done in Columbia. Missouri 3 wins come against Miami (OH) 17-6, Western Illinois, 69-0 and Iowa State 52-17 (The minor league affiliate of the Big 12). I just don't see how the Tigers expect to handle the 2nd ranked offense in the nation. The Tigers schedule doesn't get any easier as they have A&M, Baylor and Texas their next three games. 45-24 Pokes!
Texas Tech @ Oklahoma (-28) : The Sooners went 2 for 6 last week in the red zone, leaving plenty of points off the board in their 30pt rout of the Jayhawks. Not this week, Stoops will have his troops poised to put away the Red Raiders quick and early. It's seriously beautiful to watch this Sooners offense take the field and operate with such ease and their arial attack is on par with the most season of offenses. Sooners D will aslo score 1 if not 2 Td's as the pass happy Red Raiders will no doubt be throwing the majority of the game as they will be playing from behind. Boomer Sooner baby, they roll 59-21.

The Picks
Sorry about the delay this week, been kind of a hectic week. Hope you all took Arkansas State and the under on Tuesday night! That would have paid off but you would have been nervous down right until the last fumble. Vince has a basketball game tonight, over under is 121 and they are favored by 2. Should be a good game and I would take the over and Vince's team! They are dangerous when they are hitting their outside shots and the team they are playing likes to play a soft zone. Look for some good ball movement and penetration from the point guard for open kick outs! Have a couple games tonight with Central Florida traveling to the UAB Blazers and UCLA traveling to Arizona. Don't have too many opinions on Central Florida, but I think UCLA covers and might just win straight up.
Interesting week in the NFL, Ronnie Brown is traded, and then he isn't. Jerome Harrison couldn't pass his physical because of a tumor in his brain. The best part of this is the fact that his life was probably saved by this trade because he would have never gone through this physical and they probably wouldn't have found the tumor. And the Raiders, being the Raiders, giving up a first and conditional second round pick for Carson Palmer, who is washed up and can't throw the ball much more than 15 yards anymore? Guess we will see here, but it looks like a move of desperation because your backup is either Kyle Boller or Terrell Pryor. Oh well should be a good week of college football and the NFL and here are the picks.

So I have never experienced this, but some would say that this week was like kissing your sister. With tonight's game pending basically 50% on the week, OUCH! So the point shaving rumors have started about South Carolina, not about this week, but about previous weeks with Garcia, probably another good reason he isn't on the team. Although I have to question them taking a safety at the end of the game? Really? That was a 30 million dollar swing in Vegas. 30 million dollars Vegas made b/c of that safety that wasn't needed. The Raiders fake a field goal for a TD (to a guy on my bench) run a kick back and have a chance to go to OT b/c the Browns got an onsides kick. K State has an interception return for a TD and a kick return, and when teams do that they win 93% of the time, well K State held on to win. They also held Tech without a TD in the second half. The Patriots and Brady did what the Patriots and Brady do, win in the last seconds but allow the Cowboys to cover!
Baylor laid an egg, which Vegas was right about and we were completely wrong about, although I said Baylor is actually not as good as MU. OK State rolls and has a big showdown with Mizzou this year. OK State tends to blow a game somewhere in the season and it might be this week. Stanford continues to cover and so does Boise, look for that trend to continue. Michigan State stepped up and showed who they are, which makes me think ND is quite a bit better than they are getting credit for. I think Brian Kelly has these guys primed and ready to play and they could win the rest of their games. Oregon pulls out a push with all their players going down, wonder who will play for them this week as they roll into Colorado. Does it really matter though? Colorado is horrible. Ohio State has a solid D and slowed Illinois quite nicely, leading me to believe their QB troubles are fine with the freshman. LSU rolls, Bama rolls, OU rolls (not a cover), and the top 10 in the BCS are finally out.
We look forward to a bounce back week like we had before when we had a down week. We are again going with 20 college games, and will pick every NFL game. We have some big matchups this weekend, OK State @ Mizzou, Georgia Tech @ Miami, Wisconsin @ Michigan St, and some big lines in games with the top 10 being favored big time! Stay tuned this week for our picks and some highlighted games. After a 16-16-1 week, we promise we bounce back with over 20 right. It is the way it goes, and you just have to remember gambling is a marathon not a sprint. Not one week does a season make!

Friday Updates
It is Friday, and although we didn't break down the games last night Dave and Vince both took USC to cover the 3 against Cal and Vince also took San Diego State as underdogs on the road. Good start to the weekend for us both. Hopefully we continue our success with the game tonight and the games on Saturday and Sunday!
Hawaii @ San Jose State (+5). Hawaii is not traveling too far for this game, so I really don't think that will be a factor in this game. The stat I look at here for the most is the fact that 14 out of the last 17 games played in this series the road team has covered. Hawaii can score averaging 37.2 points a game and San Jose allows 30.83 points a game. San Jose also only scores 20.33 points a game well Hawaii allows 27.4 points per game. I really look for Hawaii to throw the ball around and cover this line quite easily. Lay the points and take Hawaii in this game.
Thoughts from Vince....
Vince also has some of his Friday changes, as the week goes the lines move and the research comes in so changes are made. Vince is hopping on the Packers, the Rams are just bad and the Packers are the real deal, Packers should be able to roll the Rams even though they are coming off a bye. Florida @ Auburn has been a game that I have been struggling with. I just don't think that Florida can stop the run at all so I look for Auburn to exploit this and win this game! Wrong team favored here Auburn wins outright!
Michigan @ Michigan State (-3). Here is another tough game to call, I initially thought the wrong team was favored, but the more I look at it I think the line has the right team favored. Michigan State surprisingly has the best defense in yards allowed in college football, and I personally think they put the hurt on the Wolverines. I am a Michigan fan and hope I am wrong here, but I think the way Michigan State controls the line of scrimmage will be the difference in the game. I am going to lay the points and take the Spartans.
Thoughts from Dave...
Ohio State @ Illinois: The Buckeyes come into Champaign bruised and battered. The have lost 3 of their last 4 games with the lone win coming against Colorado (1-5). The Buckeyes have nothing going for them, they are 3-3 and their 3 wins come against cupcakes such as Akron, Toledo, and Colorado. Their combined record is 6-13. Not that impressive. Illinois on the other hand is off to a perfect 6-0 start with quality wins such as a come from behind win to beat Northwestern and a win vs #22 Arizona State. They average 226 rushing yards a contest (13th overall) averaging 34 points and only allowing 17pts per contest. The Kansas City native Nathan Scheelhasse has grown into a quality Big 10 QB (for whatever thats worth). He has 10 TD tosses with only 3 INTS. He also has 4 rushing TDs to go along with this. The Big 10 is in definitely down this year, with clearly Wisconsin the front runner and worthy of a top 10 team, but you could also make a case for Illinois as well, I think Michigan will end up with 2 possibly 3 loses. Ohio State will be lucky to be bowl eligible at season end, I look for Illinois to handle them in this game. Fighting Illinois win 38-24. Buckeyes come away with buckshot in their ass after this is all said and done and it doesn't get any easier as they will take on the Wolf pack of Wisconsin next week. Thank You Jim Tressel.
Michigan @ Michigan State: The Wolverines roll into town to face the 3rd best defense statistically. Although Michigan State has yet to face a quality opponent either. Their only loss was a blowout suffered at the hands of the Irish of Notre Dame (31-13). Michigan State will not be able to contain Denard Robinson. The Spartans are favored in this game by 2.5, I look for Michigan to move the ball with ease against this over rated defense. Neither of these teams are worthy of where they sit in the rankings, but b/c this is rivalry and traditionally a big game for both schools, this game is getting a lot of undue hype. This could potentially be over by half. Wolverines roll 41-20.
Kansas State @ Texas Tech: Neither of these teams are flashy and they both have what folks might consider quality coaches, but no reason why Tech doesn't deliver the Wildcats 1st over due loss. I think they were lucky to take down Baylor, and Mizzou should have taken them to the wood shed, but they avoided defeat and pulled off some big defensive plays, their luck runs out on Sunday as an average, pass happy Texas Tech team brings them down from that cloud they are on and puts them where they were always meant to be, AVERAGE. They will no doubt handle Kansas next week as everyone has. But then they have the Sooners, Cowboys, Aggies, and the Longhorns, which should mop the floor with them. I hoped they enjoyed the brief success as it seems they are in for a rough month ahead! 45-31 TT wins.
Hawaii @ San Jose State (+5). Hawaii is not traveling too far for this game, so I really don't think that will be a factor in this game. The stat I look at here for the most is the fact that 14 out of the last 17 games played in this series the road team has covered. Some Breakdowns
Thoughts from Dave....
Baylor @ Texas A&M - Baylor comes in as 9 point underdogs, which is absolutely baffling. Baylor is 4th in overall scoring averaging 47.6 points a game against a defense that ranks 64th giving up almost 27 points a game. I won't bring up that A&M avoided a 3rd straight defeat in which they blew big leads in the 2nd half. I don't know if they folks in Vegas know something that we don't, but I see Baylor in this ball game with a chance to win outright. Going into College Station will no doubt be a factor with the noise, but Baylor should've won their contest in Manhattan and will be in the game if not lead the majority of the game. If A&M can't contain/stop Wilson or Weeden, how do they intend on stopping the much more mobile Griffin III. I don't see it happening. We'll see how the Bears respond coming off their first defeat of the season. 48-45 Baylor.
Oklahoma State @ Texas : This could possibly be a repeat for the Horns. It will depend on if the Cowboys D decides to show up. This Ok State team put up 70 last week and they coasted in the second half. Oklahoma State has the #1 ranked offense coming in. Granted, Texas will not see near the same defense they saw last week, but they will see as potent as an collegiate offense can be. I look for the Cowboys to cover the 7.5 easily. I think Mack Brown will be scratching his head at halftime thinking how can limit the damage this OSU offense will impose on his over rated team once again. The only bright spot here is the Longhorns have the Jayhawks coming to town next week. They should be able to lick their wounds next week. 55-28 pokes roll.
Eagles @ Skins: The Eagles come to town after dropping 4 straight, that's right, the "Dream Team" title has quickly vanished and now Vick and company into Washington looked to steer the ship back on course. I think the Eagles get it down here. They have been scrutinized for the last month and I think we are going to see exactly how the rest of the season is going to go by this one game, you don't go 1-5 and expect to contend for the NFC East. Grossman blows up, has a Rex-like game and throws a few picks and fumbles a time or two. Eagles in control from the kickoff. 34 -17, eagles double them up.
Thoughts from Vince...
Kansas State @ Texas Tech (-3). I am tired of looking at stats and trying to figure out ways that K State could lose. This old ball coach can flat out coach and it is clear he is worth about 6 points a game. With that being said, I think the Cats keep their season going here. Tech is not a very good team, they are no Mizzou or Baylor, so I truly think they have the wrong team favored here. Apparently most other people have hopped on the band wagon as 72% of the bets are on K State here. K State just does enough to win, they run the ball, play decent defense, and have the veteran coach in Snyder on their sideline, K State straight up 27-24.
Iowa State @ Missouri (-15). Missouri is probably the best 3 loss team in the nation, minus their kicking trouble they might have a chance to have 2 more wins. Missouri has had trouble with Iowa State in the past, but I think Iowa State shoots itself in the foot here. They have gone to this hurry up offense and it is not helping Steele Jantz. He has 10 touchdowns but also has 8 int's. He tries to make plays that he shouldn't be making, and it is clear Missouri will cause him some confusion. As long as Henry Josey gets the ball early in the game, Missouri should be able to roll. Hopefully they don't really need a kicker except for extra points this week as they score 5 touchdowns. Missouri lets Iowa State try to sneak in a cover but a late stand keeps the score 35-17. Missouri gets back on track this week and shows what kind of team they really can be.
Cowboys @ Patriots (-7). The Cowboys come off a bye and get healthy here with Miles Austin returning and Dez Bryant being back to 100%. Their passing attack should be able to exploit a somewhat weak secondary for the Patriots, but Tom Brady is too much. I don't know how you stop him? He is actually better when you blitz this year, his stats are off the charts facing a blitz of 5 or more! Cowboys give the Patriots fits in this game but New England holds on to win 31-26.
Stanford @ Washington State (+21). For me I am going to ride Stanford until they buck me. They are perfect in covering this year, and I don't see how that doesn't continue. Andrew Luck is showing why he is going to be a great QB in the NFL, they run the ball, he makes passes when he needs to, he does what he has to do to win! Luck is the real deal and the Colts are extremely lucky that they are going to most likely land such a great talent to sit behind Manning for a couple of years. Stanford rolls here and continues their perfect season until their huge matchup with Oregon!
One thing I would like to add to Dave's OK State @ Texas info is the fact that Mack Brown is 13-0 after the Red River Rivalry, well guess what, that streak comes to an end this week, they not only lose but they get blown out again. Dave is spot on there!
Baylor @ Texas A&M - Baylor comes in as 9 point underdogs, which is absolutely baffling. Baylor is 4th in overall scoring averaging 47.6 points a game against a defense that ranks 64th giving up almost 27 points a game. We Love Football
Well another exciting weekend of football is behind us! Pretty decent weekend overall. Dave and Vince both went 10-5 in their college picks and Boise State and Stanford covered which gave Vince 2 more wins! The NFL was a little tougher Dave was 6-6 with Vince going 8-4. 16-11 or 18-9 (20-9 with bonus picks) it still pretty solid and we look to carry that momentum into this weekend as well!
Looking at some games, K State got an early turnover and took advantage of it. Missouri didn't establish the run with Josey as they should have, he had 12 carries for 55 yards, that dude needs the ball way more than that. K State continues to impress, but will have another test this week as they travel to Lubbock to face the Red Raiders. Oklahoma rolled, not really surprised there, but they just dominated that game and made Texas look horrible. I assume they will probably do the same thing to KU this weekend. I am trying to figure out who is worse Kentucky or Minnesota? Kentucky gets destroyed by South Carolina and Minnesota gets routed by Purdue. Both of these teams are bad. Nebraska didn't look great against Ohio State but did make a nice comeback to win that game. Florida State shot themselves in the foot and now look like a below average football team. Clemson notched another win as did Illinois to move both teams to 6-0. Are either of these teams legit? Notre Dame's offense finally is looking like what Brian Kelly envisioned when he took over, they might be tough to stop the rest of the year. LSU, Alabama, Michigan, roll Boise gets back in the talk about being a national championship contender, just so much happened this weekend.
In the NFL, what in the hell happened to the Giants? You let a hapless Seattle team come in after traveling across the country and losing their starting QB during the game, beat you? For Eli Manning saying he is a top 5 QB in the league, he sure didn't show it. I was sitting there and I said this guy is going to throw a pick, and sure enough he did. Good work Eli! The Chiefs get their first road win against a Colts team since 1980, and the Colts were in Baltimore then and Marv Levy was the head coach of the Chiefs. The Dream Team is a nightmare and the Bills? Somebody pinch me because I think I am dreaming. New England shows again why they are the best team in the league, or at least the AFC. Oakland held on for a very emotional win, I have always wondered if the league was somewhat rigged, and that end to the game still leaves me wondering? Drew Brees showed the rookie Cam, that he isn't the new kid on the block quite yet! Minnesota got off the side, and did so convincingly? Does that make the Chiefs win against them look better or is Arizona that bad? Andy Dalton? What the hell is going on in Cincy? They lead the league in defense and actually have a winning record. Dalton to Green, get used to hearing that! Did anybody really think Big Ben was done? That was a blowout! PS San Francisco can play some defense just ask Tampa Bay. I think we might be seeing the start of the Tebow era, or experiment, guess we will watch how this plays out. Oh and a final note on the NFL the Packers showed they are not a one man show, their defense kept them in that game and then when Rodgers decided to show up the game wasn't even close. This team is poised for another Championship run!
Pay attention for more picks this week as there are some real exciting college games and some big NFL match-ups. This is when teams either make their move or fall back realizing their season isn't going like they planned. Hope you all had a great weekend and please feel free to ask for specific games or leave us feedback, this is for our readers, not for us!

Friday Bonus and Upset Alert
We have some things to cover including the game tonight.
Upset Alert -- Dave and I have reanalyzed the game with the Packers and Falcons in Atlanta. Falcons are 6 point dogs so we are moving our money to that side of the line instead of the Packers. A few reasons here, Matty Ice is incredible at home, the Packers secondary is not very good and still beat up, although they had a scare the Falcons got on track last week in Seattle. Traveling across country and winning a road game is tough to do no matter who you are playing. I definitely like the points here but to be honest I think Atlanta wins this game outright!
I am also looking at changing my OK State pick, I think I will take Oklahoma State to absolutely knock KU out. OK State can do about anything on offense and KU can't stop anybody, see the Georgia Tech game. KU gets it handed to them here, I initially thought it was going to be about a 25, 26 point blowout, but I have changed my mind and I think OK State rolls!
Boise State @ Fresno State -- Boise by 21 as road favorites. Vince is on Boise here, a Friday night spotlight game where they need to roll! Everybody is talking about OU, LSU, Alabama, and I feel this is where Boise is at their best, under the radar. Boise needs to come out tonight and get themselves back in the talk about who is the best team in the country. Boise can score and play decent defense, so I really look for them to roll tonight. Fresno is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games, and 2-4 in its last 6 games ATS. Boise comes into Fresno and gets up early and doesn't look back! Dave on the other hand thinks that Fresno gives Boise a run for their money. Fresno's offense is capable of putting up 30th a night and they are 51st in the country in scoring. Boise State's best years are behind them. We are split here so flip a coin and hope! Dave says 41-30 Vince says 45-20.
Bonus Game -- Colorado @ Stanford Stanford -29. Has anybody watched Colorado play a game this year? If so I am sorry because it is tough to watch. They are not a good football team at all, why do you think the Big 12 was happy to let them go? The Pac 12 wants to give them back but can't, this team is not good and they are going up against a Stanford team that just rolls everybody. They have covered every game this year and I look for that trend to continue. It is almost like Stanford knows the spread, scoring a TD with about a minute left to play last week to cover. And it was a pass it wasn't like they were trying to run out the clock or anything. Stanford is 7th in scoring and 6th in points allowed. Colorado is 89th in both scoring offense and scoring defense, which doesn't bode well for them in this game. If there was ever a mismatch this is one of them, lay the points and take Stanford! Honestly I think Stanford could spot them about 40 and still win this game.
Glorious Friday
Well I am a complete idiot and this was suppose to go on my other blog, but we are going to leave it up, check in later today for more updates about football games. I just hope you bet on our basketball team last night to cover and the under of 135, we covered and held the team down so I hit a nice parley last night!
It is here! Friday has arrived and I am super happy about it. Have some plans to watch some football this weekend with some football buddies. It is so nice now that Don has added all those TV's, it really is a great place to watch football. Big MU/K State game tomorrow, 230 game, and I just see Missouri rolling in this game. On a side note KU is going into the game as 32.5 pt underdogs, and I am betting on KU so they better not screw me. Man I hate KU. But with saying that I don't want MU to go anywhere because of the rivalry with KU, and whoever else in the Big 12. Stay put MU!
Last night was a good night! We played our second basketball game and I just love getting out there and running and hooping! It is truly something I miss about Prime, playing every day, but I still get my once a week thrill! We played a team called the Criminals, and Bryce was afraid they were going to be tough from their stint in prison. Funny thing is I could see some of these guys being in prison, but they were actually really nice. We came out and took the lead early on a 3 I hit that I thought was off, and we never looked back! We had a 10 point lead most of the first half but closed it with an 8 point lead. We ended up winning 60-45 pretty much on cruise control. We put a lot of pressure on them with a trapping zone defense, and we were getting into our offense very quickly. Bryce hit 3's, Q hit 3's and drove to the hoop, Eric pushed people around, made some nifty moves around the hoop, hit a 3, Losson and Mahoney played big and tall like they are, Will fouled out and got T'd up, and I hit 4 3's and really was happy about my defense and my boxing out. If we box out and rebound I think we are a solid team. Thankfully we don't have to play the team of All Stars, not sure why but we don't and I am happy about that! We might play them in the championship game, haha who am I kidding we haven't won more than 4 or 5 games before. I am just proud of our effort the last couple weeks and as coach and team captain, we have came a long way and it is a lot of fun to play like the team we did last night and even in the first game.
That was pretty much our night, and I don't really have anything planned for the weekend. Football, hanging out, some booze, and some relaxation. Hope the work day goes by quickly and the weekend can begin! I am in sync with weekends, they make me happy! Have a great weekend and see you on Monday!

Preview into the Weekend
This weekend we have some big college match-ups and some good NFL games to look forward to. Here is a preview of some of the games that we have highlighted!
Thoughts from Vince...
Missouri @ Kansas State -- One might think that Missouri being a 3 point favorite on the road against a K State team that is undefeated is crazy, but I am here to tell you exactly why Missouri wins this game and probably wins it quite easily. First and foremost we should look at Missouri's defense compared to Baylor's. MU is 29th in points allowed, and that includes 37 to Arizona State and 38 to Oklahoma. They are 44th in total yards, 17th in rushing yards allowed and 37th in passing yards allowed. Baylor on the other hand is 84th in points allowed, 52nd in total yards, 76th in rushing yards allowed, and 8th against the pass. 8th against the pass is not bad, but K State doesn't pass the ball. Collin Klein has 423 rushing yards and 481 passing yards, clearly they don't pass the ball much. Against Baylor he passed for 146 yards and rushed for 113 yards. Missouri being 17th against the rush should help them slow the rushing attack down. Also, the fact that they play against Franklin in practice, they know how to stop a rushing QB. K State is 70th in points, 91st in total yards, 18th in rushing, and 115th in passing. Again all stats that benefit Missouri's defense. K State is 17th in points allowed, 16th in total yards, 18th in rushing defense but they are also 115th against the pass. This bodes well for MU considering Franklin is getting more and more comfortable as a passer. His last 3 games he passed for 319, 246, and 291 yards respectively. K State also hasn't faced a back like Henry Josey, who in his last 3 games has 490 yards on his last 37 carries which is over 13 yards per attempt. One final point, the Cats are 0-5 in their last 5 games against Missouri, look for Missouri to roll 31-21 here.
Chiefs @ Colts -- This is one where you can take the stats and throw them out the window. Both teams have horrible stats and horrible offensive and defensive rankings. The Chiefs are inflated on defense because of their first two games and their offensive deflated for the same reason. They have found something on offense since Todd Haley has been more involved in the play calling again. The Colts are 2 or 2.5 point favorites which is kind of surprising for a 0-4 football team. The reason the Chiefs looked so bad to start the season is the approach Haley took because of the off season, they were not ready to play and it showed. They have made improvements each week, and as the season goes on they will continue to get better. Romeo has the defense playing well holding AP to 80 yards on 23 carries. Joseph Addai is no AP and Curtis Painter has a good arm, but he did not look that sharp against Tampa. Minus 2 huge plays by Garcon (sorry don't have the right character) that offense struggled. I look for the Chiefs to come out early and get ahead and help the Colts keep moving towards Andrew Luck. How great would that be for Indy, let Luck sit behind one of the best QB's for a couple of years and then turn the franchise over to him? Chiefs win this game 24-10.
Florida @ LSU -- LSU is favored by 14 in this game, and to be honest I am not sure why this line isn't more. Alabama just went into Florida and owned them and now the starting QB for Florida is out. I know Brantley is listed as questionable but I don't think he plays nor do I think it makes too much of a difference. Let us first look at Bama's defensive stats, 1st in points allowed, 3rd in total yards, 1st against the run, and 5th against the pass. Check these numbers compared to LSU's, 9th in points allowed, 9th in total yards, 3rd against the run, and 38th against the pass. Pretty similar and I think LSU might be just a little quicker on defense than Bama. Florida on offense is 37th in points, 51st in total yards, 21st in rushing yards, and 86th in passing yards, whatever Charlie Wies is doing isn't quite producing like he probably expected to. LSU isn't amazing on offense but they haven't had to be and I don't think they will need to be again, LSU rolls over Florida 31-10. My only concern here is how much they try to work Jordan Jefferson back into the lineup, if they try to work him too much it could keep Florida in the game. The Mad Hatter is pretty smart though and he knows how big this game is. Take LSU!
Thoughts from Dave...
Texas vs. Oklahoma @ the Cotton Bowl:
That's right, the Red River Rivalry is back and in full swing. The Sooners (4-0) come into the Lone Star State to battle a upcoming Texas team. The Longhorns have looked much better in their last two games since replacing the non-effective Garrett Gilbert. Gilbert didn't impress in their two wins against Rice and BYU. Since turning the offense over to Chase McCoy, and David Ash, their offense has once again shown life. It has been since late 2009 that their offense would be considered satisfactory to Longhorn standards. After a 5-7 season last year, the Longhorns look like they are in a good position to have a bounce back season, but lets get real; Oklahoma has depth in every position and overall team speed will get the best of Texas. Oklahoma has an elite QB in Landry Jones and one if not the best receiver in game in Ryan Broyles. WR Kenny Still will be back for the Sooners as well as suspended WR Trey Franks. All hands should be on board for the Sooners as they look to handle Texas again this year. Anything less than a National Championship would be a disappointment for Oklahoma, but the Sooners must first tackle the opponent in front of them. This is the 2nd time in the last 7 years that both teams have entered the contest undefeated. The Sooners have played a much more competitive schedule in Florida St and Missouri. The Longhorns really haven't been tested yet, but that test is sure to come on Saturday when they face #3 Oklahoma. I look for the Sooners to put them to bed early and not look back. Oklahoma wins this one 41-20.
Ohio State @ Nebraska:
The Buckeyes (3-2) march into town to take on the Huskers (4-1). Nebraska bounces back from the loss in Camp Randall with a good ole fashion beat down of the Buckeyes. I look for Taylor Martinez to run, throw, bake cookies, tweet and whatever else he wants to do against this terrible Ohio State team. If it wasn't for the late score (12 seconds left) last week, the Buckeyes would've been shut out at the shoe by a mediocre Michigan State team. If you watched this game, it was pitiful how this Buckeye team moved the ball or lack thereof. The only thing that would be better than watching this Buckeye team get an old fashioned ass whipping in Lincoln would be to have Jim Tressel and his sweater vest on the sideline for it. Nebraska rolls 45-17. If your an Ohio State fan, maybe you can catch a re-run of the Sugar Bowl last year when this game is playing, because you will be witnessing a live massacre if you tune to ABC, last years team is only a memory, a scandal filled memory.
Eagles @ Buffalo:
What can be said here about both teams. The Bills come in after dropping a heart breaker to the Cincinnati Bengals. How can the Bills come off their biggest win since the Jim Kelly/Thurman Thomas era and drop one to the Bengals?? We will see what they are truly made of on Sunday when they host the Eagles. The self proclaimed "Dream Team" is 1-3, yes 1-3. They were outscored 21-3 in the second half by the Niners. The Eagles have dropped 3 straight games. They have lead in all three games in the 2nd half and the Eagles are figuring out ways to give away games. I think Andy Reid is on the hot seat if the lose this one. You gave Vick and Asomugha big contracts this off-season as well as bring in seasoned veteran Ronnie Brown, you have maybe the best 1-2 punch in Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, although Maclin has coughed up some big fumbles in recent games. This week Vick takes control through the air and on the ground and pulls out a win. I look for the Eagles to make a convincing statement this game and put away the Bills for their 2nd win of the season.

WOW... What a Weekend.
What an exciting weekend of football, Arkansas with a huge comeback, K State with a huge comeback, Wisconsin rolling Nebraska, Alabama destroying Florida, the Cowboys melting down, the Chiefs getting their first win, the Ravens D dismantling the Jets, the Giants winning on a fumble not a fumble what? and the Falcons holding on for a win as Tarvaris Jackson was leading a huge comeback. Just great excitement around the league and in the college ranks! If you didn't enjoy watching football this weekend there is just something wrong with you.
As far as our picks, Vince shouldn't have changed those two college games or him and Dave would have been 11-2. Vince finished the college ranks at 9-4 and Dave at 11-2. Both very solid and produce results in your account if you are the betting type. In the NFL Vince was 10-5 and Dave 8-7. With these results the totals for the week were 19-9. Check those percentages if you want but that is almost 68% correct. There is one more game tonight with Indy traveling to Tampa Bay. The line still looks to be Bucs by 10. Colts showed some life last week against the Steelers, so we will see if they show up and play tonight.
On a side note Vince has a chance to win a pick em pool this week, a league where you pick the winner straight out. It has a nice payday but he will need some points, at least 44 total points scored tonight. If Dallas didn't have a self implosion against Detroit he would have already won this pot, but it is the NFL and crazy things happen. See Giants/Cardinals game, crazy comeback and the receiver Cruz dropping the ball on the ground? It was truly an amazing weekend and Dave and Vince produced some very good results. Stay tuned this week for our picks and some highlighted games, going to be another big week of football and we are looking to have another highly successful group of picks! Stay Tuned!
