Well that was a blowout last night, if Green Bay's defense can play like that the rest of the year I have no idea how they would lose a game? Aaron Rodgers puts the ball wherever he wants whenever he wants, that guy is pretty good and he has so many weapons. They use more of the playbook than I can imagine. Enough of that we will get back to football tomorrow or Thursday.
Tonight we have basketball, lots of basketball and quite a few good games actually. First, Missouri State who went 26-9 last year has their big stud Kyle Weems back. He spent most of the first half in foul trouble in their season opener in which they were 7.5 point dogs. They only won that game by 22 on the road. Tonight they play Arkansas State, and they are favored by 2.5-3.5 depending on where you see the line. I like Mo State to roll in this game, with Weems staying out of foul trouble, Caleb Patterson staying hot, and I think with a solid contribution from Nathan Scheer. Mo State rolls tonight.
Michigan St vs Duke -6.5. Michigan State is pretty young and really is going to struggle to find points all season. They played an emotional good game against the number one team in the nation UNC on a military ship, but they aren't going to be able to hang with Duke in this one. As much as this hurts me to say this, the Plumee brothers are going to dominate the inside and make life tough on Michigan State tonight. Duke rolls.
Kansas vs Kentucky -6.5. KU does have a decent starting 5, but they aren't as deep as they normally are. Kentucky has more NBA talent on the floor than any other team in the country. I really think this game comes down to one person, Tyshawn Taylor. I think he is going to be turnover prone and Kentucky is going to roll because of it. If KU is to stay in this game, it will be because Taylor plays one of his best games as a Jayhawk, if he doesn't, look for the Cats to roll.
